On August 8-9, the traditional annual summer cultural and gastronomic festival took place in Managua, Republic of Nicaragua, bringing together representatives from more than 40 countries.

The Republic of Abkhazia was represented at the event by the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Nicaragua.

At the Republic of Abkhazia's stand, festival guests were able to learn about the history, geography, and cultural heritage of our country, as well as sample traditional Abkhazian cuisine such as cheese, adjika, chacha, and the national dessert, akalmysh.

The Abkhazian stand generated considerable interest among festival guests and visitors, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Nicaragua. The presentation included banknotes from the Bank of Abkhazia and examples of traditional Abkhazian handicrafts. The festival concluded with a display of traditional clothing from around the world.

The Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia presented sets of traditional Abkhaz men's and women's national clothing. Participation in such events promotes the culture and traditions of the Republic of Abkhazia, expands humanitarian contacts, and strengthens friendly ties with representatives of various countries.
