On July 9, 2026, a working meeting was held between Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, and Adik Arshba, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Abkhazia in Rostov-on-Don.
On July 6, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Oleg Bartsits, received a delegation from the Republic of Ghana, who arrived in the country on an official visit to participate in celebrations marking the 2,510th anniversary of the founding of the town of Sukhum.
On June 16, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Bartsits met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Abkhazia in Rostov-on-Don, Adik Arshba.
During a working visit to Moscow, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia met with Dmitry Savelyev, State Duma Deputy from the United Russia party, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, and General Director of the Center for Public Diplomacy. Valeria Manovitskaya, coordinator of the Center's branch in Abkhazia also participated in the meeting.
During his working visit to Russia, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia participated in the unveiling ceremony of a monument to Khimtsa Gudzhovich Tarba, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 and a soldier from Abkhazia who died in 1941 in the Leningrad Region. The ceremony took place at the Michurinskaya Secondary Comprehensive School in the village of Michurinskoye in the Priozersky District of the Leningrad Region.
A meeting was held in the Russian Federation between Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, and Jesús Rafael Salazar Velázquez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Russian Federation and concurrently to the Republic of Abkhazia at the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On May 19, Oleg Bartsits, Foreign Minister met with Andrey Sergeev, Chairman of the Board of the National Fund for Support of Social Programs and Taimuraz Tadtayev, Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia at the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation. Odyssey Bigvava, Deputy Foreign Minister and Alkhas Kvitsinia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Russia participated in the meeting.
Oleg Bartsits awarded Andrey Sergeev a Certificate of Gratitude from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for his long-standing support of initiatives aimed at developing of Abkhaz-Russian cooperation.
In the context of developing Abkhaz-South Ossetian relations, in a conversation with Taimuraz Tadtayev, the Minister noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia in various areas, including interparliamentary cooperation.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
On May 18, during a working visit to Moscow, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia visited MGIMO University. During the visit, the Minister met with MGIMO Rector, Academician Anatoly Torkunov.
On April 27, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, received representatives of the Center for Public Diplomacy: Valeria Manovitskaya, Deputy Executive Director and Head of the Department of Educational Projects, and Sofia Khagba, Manager of Educational and Cultural Projects.
