With the support of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Syrian Arab Republic, Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic, participated in the opening of ceremony of three specialized industrial exhibitions organized by the Mashhadani Industrial Group.

The event includes specialized industry exhibitions: Syria Plast (plastics industry), Chem Expo (chemical industry), and RAWMEX (raw materials and production supplies). The exhibitions are being held at the exhibition complex in Damascus.

The opening of ceremony was attended by Basel Abdel-Hannan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Syrian Arab Republic; Mohammed Hamza, Director General of the State Institution for International Exhibitions and Fairs; Ayman Moulowi, Chairman of the Damascus Chamber of Industry; and the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The Mashhadani Industrial Complex is one of the leading specialized exhibition venues in the region. The exhibition covering over 10 000 square meters brings together more than 200 brands from 13 countries. The exhibitions serve as an effective platform for developing of international industrial cooperation, establishing business contacts, finding of new partners, exchanging of experiences, and showcasing of modern technologies, innovations, and industrial solutions.
