A presentation was held in Yekaterinburg outlining the program for an international expedition to the Republic of Abkhazia scheduled for September 17–22 for foreign participants of the International Youth Festival.

On September 13, 2026, the opening of ceremony of the International Youth Festival took place at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO Congress and Exhibition Center in Yekaterinburg. Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia participated in the event.

A concert featuring Hibla Gerzmava, People's Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation and the Big Jazz Orchestra conducted by Pyotr Vostokov took place at the main building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on Smolenskaya-Sennaya Square.

On September 10, 2026, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua between Alyas Ayba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua, and Naur Khishba, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy, with Ivan Lara, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua.

Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, sent a note to Félix Ramón Plasencia González, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on the occasion of the seventeenth anniversary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’s recognition of the independence and state sovereignty of the Republic of Abkhazia.
