On January 15, 2025, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Venezuela took part in the ceremonial annual address of Nicolás Maduro Moros, the President of Venezuela to the country.

The ceremonial meeting took place at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.

In the annual address to the Venezuelan people and the international community, the President spoke in detail about the achievements and progress made by the country in 2024 in the political, economic and other spheres. He noted the strength of the people as the guarantor of peace for the eighth year in a row, and the victory over the efforts of international fascism to disrupt the Bolivarian Revolution.

The event was attended, in particular, by representatives of state authorities, the high military command, and the diplomatic corps accredited in Venezuela.

At the end of the ceremony, when the President said goodbye to the diplomatic corps, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador shook hands with President Nicolas Maduro and conveyed fraternal greetings from the leadership of the Republic of Abkhazia.
