At the invitation of the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic Mohammed Ali attended the opening of the international construction exhibition BUILDEX 2026.

Participating in the opening ceremony were: Minister of Tourism Mazen Salehani, Minister of Local Administration and Environment Mohammed Anzherani, Governor of Damascus Maher Marwan Adlebi, Director of the Syrian Institute of International Exhibitions and Markets Mohammed Hamza, and ambassadors of diplomatic missions. Representatives of local and international companies accredited in Syria specializing in construction, building materials, energy, and related technologies will participate.

The exhibition will run until Sunday, June 14, 2026.
