Abhazya Cumhuriyeti’nde yabancı Basın gazetecilerin akreditasyon prosedürü
Accreditation of foreign correspondents in the Republic of Abkhazia is carried out in accordance with the Rules for the Accreditation of Foreign Correspondents in the Republic of Abkhazia.
Accreditation of foreign correspondents is carried out by the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
To accredit a foreign correspondent, the following documents must be submitted to the Press Service:
1. A letter requesting accreditation addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia from the editorial board on official letterhead;2. A filled application form. All sections of the application form must be filled out without exception. If the required information is missing, the application form may not be accepted for review;
3. A copy of the accredited person's passport;
4. A copy of the visa or entry permit, except for countries with a visa-free regime;
5. A journalist's ID card, press card (if unable to provide one, a letter from the editorial office confirming the correspondent's employment there);
6. A certificate of media registration;
7. An invitation from the host country of the Republic of Abkhazia (if available);
8. Links to materials written about the Republic of Abkhazia (if any);
9. List of imported equipment

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' decision to issue an accreditation card to a foreign correspondent is made within five business days since the day of receiving the applicant's complete set of documents.
Foreign correspondents accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia are issued a corresponding accreditation certificate (accreditation card).
To obtain an accreditation card, foreign correspondents must contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon arrival in the Republic of Abkhazia:
